The hostel

The Boardercamp Laax – swiss mountain hostel is a cozy accommodation near the valley station Laax. We rent cheap rooms for young and old, also in combination with ski pass and half board. Especially for teenagers we offer very attractive packages. To Laax station we’re connected with a shuttle. Depending on the amount of snow, you can also take one of the slopes straight back to the village.

In the summer time our bike-hostel is the perfect base for motorbike tours (over 20 alpine passes), downhill adventures (longest european trail), paraglide (we work togheter with a flight school), moutainbiking, canoeing/kayaking/rafting, rock climbing, hiking and e-bike tours. Between Flims, Laax and Andermatt you’re provided with many battery-charging stations for wide-strechted round trips.

The winter resort

Get the kick of Switzerlands high alpine areas! No matter if you’re a beginner or pro, all-rounder, freestyler or backcountry rider.

235 km slopes with 4 snow-secure valley runs, 28 facilities, several snowparks and the world largest half pipe – all of this in one of Europe’s snowiest and sunniest winter resorts.

Many of the lifts are running during the summer time too, to get all you mountain bikers, rock climbers, paragliders and hikers and your gear safely up the hills.

The summer region

In the summer boardercamp changes to bike hostel.

Bikerbeds in our motorbike hostel in the alps (Switzerland, Grisons) already from 35 CHF on. Based on the central position of our motorbike lodge round trips to many alpine passes (over 20) of Switzerland and Italy are possible (5 different day excursions and various trips).

Bike, Chill & Grill: Without ballast over the mountains, chill out with beer and BBQ in the evening.

E-bike: Join bike-hostel discount on e-bike rental with our partner Sport Menzli and explore the nearby gorge of the rhine. Go for swimming at the beautiful lake Cauma or Cresta; make a bike tour to the Vorab glacier or the famous Sardona (world natural heritage). Another highlight is the largest observatory in Switzerland, the observatory Mirasteilas in Falera, not far from us. On a starry night you can explore undreamt-of vastness.

On demand we offer a free shuttle incl. bike from station Ilanz to our hostel or to the observatory.
